This box was commissioned to be a tenth year anniversary present for the president of Berklee College of Music, who was responsible for the creation of this new building in Boston, MA.  As with the Gore Place Box, my intention was to create a box that captures the essence of the building, not an exact model. As the building facades are entirely glass, I chose a silver-dyed English Sycamore as the main wood. It was decided to leave out the multi-story trapezoidal tower that rises above the larger base of the building, and to focus on the six lower floors which are at the core of student activity.
