When you remove the loft floor you find the rooms of the ground floor, detailing the wonderful original stalls with their
arched entries, curve-topped dividers and the floors with channels that helped funnel the urine and dung to a trough with a
hinged cover. The cover was lifted and the waste swept down to the basement below.This box has a trough that can be opened.
