Gian-Battista Piranesi's fantastic series of etchings of imaginary prisons has always intrigued and deligted me, and also had a strong influence on M.C.Escher. They are also the inspiration for a new series of boxes. This first box of the series tries to capture the sprawling, almost chaotic sense of some of the etchings.
